DGR'S CUSTOM BUILT M1 GARANDS

(DGR will build a M1 on your receiver!  Deduct $125.00 from the below cost if you supply the receiver and DGR supplies all other parts.)

DGR does sell to California residents!

Recently a customer said to me, "this is the first firearm I have had custom built for myself".  After 23 years of building customer's dreams that excitement from a customer never gets old for me.  He also stated, "I felt when I purchased a custom built M1 from DGR, I not only purchased a fine rifle, I also purchased a piece of history".  "Not just the history of a M1 but the history the M1 now has with your work".  "You (Dean) will not live forever, but your reputation for quality work will".  (Ok, I'm not good with compliments so I just thanked him.)

Have you always purchased firearms off the shelf?  Taken what was offered at the time, but wish you could have changed a few items on the firearm.  In other words, settled for what someone else thought you needed.

Custom building at DGR means you purchase a firearm with all the features you want!  It becomes personal when you choose your barrel, stock set and types of finishes.

This just might be the time to indulge yourself and for once truly get what you have always wanted, a DGR M1.  Plus...it is fun!

M1 Tanker!

(Click on above pictures to enlarge, then hit the back button to return)

DGR built M1 tankers with the original length 18 1/4" new Criterion barrel.  Since the late 1960s tankers have been commercially made and all modified parts were made for the 18 1/4" barrel.  That means you can find replacement parts from other sources.  If you deviate from the 18 1/4" barrel you will be restricted to purchasing replacement parts (op rod, follower rod and etc.) from a single supplier.  This is one reason I decided to only use the 18 1/4" barrel.  The 18 1/4" barrel has always been the standard length all parts were designed around.

The DGR Tanker Includes

New Criterion barrel in either 30-06, 7.62 MM or .308

New stock set with DGR's hand rubbed oil finishes

New stock and hand guard metal

Rebuilt op rod with new piston and stud

New springs

New Mil-Spec Parkerizing and finishing of the gas cylinder parts

1 year warranty

Add $195 for the tanker version to the full length rifle prices listed above.

Thanks, Dean-DGR
